| Description of item | Jewelry artist Mitsuo Kaji has been highly praised for his unique worldview since he introduced his "Classic & Modern" jewelry to the Japanese jewelry world. His exceptional talents are widely known as a GIA gemologist, antique researcher, and leading enamel collector. What we would like to introduce to you today is a beautiful ring made using enamel (cloisonné) from H. Cheron. Most of the enamels on Kaji's works are made by C. Cheron (daughter), but this one was made by H. Cheron (father). It is a rare piece close to the early works of Kaji Mitsuo. CHERON is the name of a workshop in Limoges, France, founded in 1954. The handmade miniature cloisonné ware, which has been handed down for generations, is made by repeatedly painting, drying, and baking copper plates, which takes a great deal of time and effort, and is said to be water-resistant and will not deteriorate. The antique feel of the product gives you a sense of the history of the workshop, which has been in operation for over 60 years, while at the same time giving you a sense of the nobility of this masterpiece.
