Product description This vintage ring is thought to have been made in the early 1950s, combining beautiful bright green natural jade (jadite) and diamonds. The centerpiece features a round brilliant-cut diamond with beautiful transparency and brilliance, surrounded by six natural jade stones like petals, creating an elegant and lovely design. Furthermore, by arranging diamonds on the outer periphery, the deep green of the jade and the sparkle of the diamonds complement each other, creating a gorgeous finish.

Jade is a natural jadeite that has been identified by the Japan Gem Science Association as having no resin impregnation (FT-IR inspection). You can fully enjoy the moist luster and bright green color that is unique to nature.

On this work, you can see the engraved "Pm" that was often seen from the postwar period until around the 1950s. This is an engraving that can be seen on platinum products before the transition to the currently mainstream "Pt" engraving, and it is one of the unique charms of vintage jewelry that shows that this piece was made in the early 1950s. It is also engraved with the Isetan hallmark, making it a valuable piece that conveys the department store quality of the time.

Furthermore, our X-ray fluorescence analysis confirmed that the arm part is made of Pt950 and the area around the stone seat is made of Pt850. The arms, which require strength, are made of high-quality Pt950, and the stone retaining parts are made of Pt850, which has excellent workability.You can feel the rational and sophisticated design philosophy of the craftsmen of the time.

The flowing arm line makes your fingertips look beautiful, and the three-dimensional stone seat creates an elegant presence. In recent years, vintage jewelry sold at department stores from the early to mid-Showa period has been reevaluated due to its reliable quality and rarity. Featuring natural untreated jade, diamonds, the Isetan hallmark, and an engraved Pm that gives you a sense of the times, this piece is a highly collectable piece that conveys the excellent jewelry culture of the Showa era.
