Pt800 Jade/Jade Diamond Obi Clasp Engraved Vintage Product Showa Handmade Engraving [His Collection]
Product description This is a vintage obi clasp that is believed to have been made in the early 1950s and is a testament to the excellent craftsmanship of postwar Japan.

The natural jade (jadite) that plays the main role is a jade board with an impressive size of approximately 8.2 x 41.6 x 3.3 mm. Although it is plump and thick, it is tailored into a neat rectangular shape, and the delicate color unevenness that is unique to nature stands out among the bright green. This natural jadeite has been verified by the Japan Gem Science Association to be ``no resin impregnation (FT-IR tested),'' and you can enjoy its moist luster and transparency.

The diamonds arranged around the jade plate add gorgeous sparkle while drawing neat lines. On the other hand, if you look at the sides, you will see the unique charm of this work. The openwork pattern applied from the back to the sides is a unique handmade item that is finished by hand one by one. It has a soft expression that cannot be expressed by uniform machining, and gives a sense of warmth typical of high-end jewelry from the early to mid-Showa period.

In addition, you can see the "Pm" engraved on this product, which was seen on platinum products at the time. This is the stamping style that preceded the transition to the current "Pt" stamp, and is one of the highlights that shows that this piece was produced in the early 1950s. Furthermore, the geometric decorations placed in the top and bottom center give a sense of the Art Deco trend that was popular at the time, and harmonize perfectly with the linear form of the jade board.

In recent years, these obidomes from the Showa period have been reevaluated both domestically and internationally for their outstanding craftsmanship and quality materials. This piece is a condensation of the craftsmanship of the time, including natural untreated jade, beautiful diamonds, embossed PM and hand-carved openwork patterns. It is not just a piece of jewelry, but also a highly attractive collection piece that conveys Japan's jewelry culture to this day.

We will attach the video to our official online store and other embeddable channels (prices may vary), so we hope you will consider it.
