Product description This is 0.131 ct of Canadian Carletonite, a rare mineral with very little distribution worldwide.

Carletonite is an extremely rare mineral that was discovered in Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. Most of the carletonite you see on the market is distributed as mineral specimens or rough stones, and there are very few opportunities to see gem-quality crystals that are transparent and can be faceted. This is one of the special collector's stones at Selby, which handles many rare stones.

This is 0.131ct, 3.69 x 3.34 x 1.63mm rectangular fancy cut. Based on a refreshing blue color, it shows vivid shades of blue depending on the angle and how the light enters. Inclusions that are unique to rare minerals can be seen, but considering the amount of production of carletonite itself and the low quality of gemstones, the fact that it exists as a cut loose stone makes it a great collection value.
