Product description The Argyle Mine closed in November 2020, but even after that, Rio Tinto kept some rare rough stones in strict storage as "Final Reserve." These rough stones were carefully polished one by one over several years, and were officially supplied to the market by the company in June 2025 as the "Last official allocation of polished diamonds."

Argyle's certificate of origin (certificate of authenticity) is issued not when the rough stone is mined, but when polishing is complete and the serial number is engraved on the product. Therefore, even if the rough stone was mined before 2020, the date "2025" will be written on the stone that was processed and finished between 2024 and 2025.

To conclude this historic finale, a final auction, Beyond Rare™ Tender, was held in October 2025. The finest looses traded here are accompanied by a modern 2025 Certificate of Authenticity, symbolizing the heritage of the Argyle Mine. Owning a pink diamond with a certificate dated 2025 means owning the ``last genuine piece'' that was officially released into the world in the 37-year history of the mine, so compared to the past loose diamonds, it can be said to have a strong story.
